Stage one: of the process is an informal appointment where by cabinet-maker and business owner Hugh will visit you in the comfort of your own home. He believes the planning stage is a crucial part of the process so getting to know you and the way you live is of key importance.
To enhance this Hugh can build up what we to refer to in the business as a mood board which is a fancy term for a process that can be as simple as photographs and ideas taken from magazines not to imitate but in order to get a flavour of your over all concept, taste and preference.
Whether you prefer hand painted or the natural beauty of real wood or a combination of the two, you will be guided through the process, where by Hugh will spend time with you to develop and incorporate your ideas to fit into the plan, especially important at this early stage if undertaking building work, and to maximise the space, and overall layout to its best advantage.
A site survey is also required where by Hugh will take detailed measurements in order to provide scaled drawings for stage two of the process.
